NFL is back, but more importantly the packers are finally back. The big story leading into the Packers Seahawks game is the Packers Right Tackle Bryan Bulaga is out, and Kyle Murphy filling in that position.
Aaron Rodgers and the Pack take the field at Lambeau for the first game of the regular season and the first three minutes had the most excitement of the entire first half.
On the Packers first drive, Naz Jones intercepts Rodgers pass, and Rodgers can't catch him. Jones takes this one all the way to the end zone. However, after a couple strange penalties and Seahawks Jeremy Lane getting ejected for what was called a punch, but wasn't seen on the replay, the pick six was erased. No points for the Seahawks, but it was Rodgers first interception in 261 plays.
Not much more to highlight from the first half. After a Seahawks field goal, Packers are down three heading into the second half.
Third quarter, and Mike Daniels can't be stopped. Daniels gets a hold of Wilson causing a fumble, and the Packers recover deep in Seahawks territory.
That sets up the the Packers offense for first and goal, and Ty Montgomery finds the lane for the touchdown. The Packers take the lead 7-3.
Now the Packers are up 7-6, and Rodgers has a free play. He goes deep to Nelson for the touchdown to extend the Packers lead to 14-6.
The Packers go on to win their season opener 17-9 against the Seahawks.
