UW-La Crosse will try to go to 3-0 on the season when they host Carroll University Saturday afternoon.
It's the final non-conference game of the season.
The Eagles took care of Carroll rather easily last season, 41-7.
Tops on the list tomorrow is of course getting a win.
But there are some other things the Eagles would like to shore-up before they head into the grind of the conference season next week.
"Definitely be more consistent on offense. Getting that first first down is huge for us. We need to focus when we step on the field, just get one first down and then usually we roll from there. I think our big focus is just getting first downs and letting everything else fall into place," said quarterback Tarek Yaeggi.
"I think defensively I just want to see our guys play hard. They're a big physical team and I want to see what we're made of up front and at the defensive back position. I know we have really great linebackers. I want to see how our d-lineman react to having 320 pound guys lean on them all game. I think they're going to come out and respond to that," said defensive back Ryan Weber.
It will be a different starting time than usual.
Kickoff set for 3 PM at Harring Stadium.
