Packers come away with overtime win over Bengals

Green Bay hosted the Bengals in what was recorded as the hottest game in packers history with the temperature at 90 for kickoff. The heat was also on for the Bengals who were 0-2 entering today's contest and had not yet scored a touchdown.

The Packers coming into this game with 13 players on the injury list including six starters. 

The Bengals on the Packers 10 yard line, and Andy Dalton finds AJ Green in the end zone. Bengals first touchdown this season, and they lead 7-0.

Packers first drive now, and Rodgers and the Pack in the red zone. Rodgers fakes the hand off, turns, and finds Lance Kendricks wide open for the touchdown. Kendricks first Packers touchdown of his career, and its a tie game at 7. 

Bengals are now up 14-7 in the third. Rodgers looking for nelson, but William Jackson intercepts the pass, and he goes the distance. Rodgers second career pick six, and Bengals lead 21-7. 

Packers offense coming alive in the third quarter. Rodgers looks to run, but sees nelson open for the 1 yard touchdown pass. Packers trail 21-14. 

20 seconds left in the game, and the Packers with a chance to tie it. Rodgers with the dime to Nelson Packers touchdown. Were heading to over time. 

Rodgers gets the free play, and sees Geranimno Allison wide open down the side line. He's taken down inside the ten. 

And that's enough for Mason Crosby who puts it through the posts. The Packers come out with the win 27-24 over the Bengals and improve to 2-1 on the season.
