Badgers rally in the second half to win their first conference game

The undefeated Badgers were up for the real test earlier this afternoon as they started conference play against a 2-1 Northwestern team. The Badgers leading receiver Troy Fumagalli is out due to a hamstring injury. 

First quarter, Badgers are down 3-0 and Jonathon Taylor 7 yard rushing touchdown puts the Badgers up 7-3.

A little over two minutes until the half, Wildcats are in the Badgers redzone and Clayton Thompson goes to Cameron Green for the one yard score. Northwestern now leading 10-7. 

Second half, Jonathon Taylor taking over this game. He has an 11 yard burst for a touchdown and Wisconsin leads 14-10.

Badgers staying alive with Hornibrook lofts it to Danny Davis in the back of the end zone. Badgers are up 21-10.

The play of the game came at the end when the Wildcats were looking to get down the field with a minute left on the clock, and D'Cota Wilson sacks Thompson in the end zone for a safety. 

Wisconsin wins 33-24.
