An upcoming event will benefit the Coulee Region Humane Society. The Sip to Save Lives beer and wine tasting event is Friday, October 27 from 5 - 8 p.m. at the Cargill Room at the Waterfront.
This year's event will feature samples of both beers and wines, in addition to a silent auction, raffle and hors d'oeuvres. Live music, starring Under Paris Skies, caricatures by Mike Martino and Mike Klen, a live pottery demonstration and other great attractions will also be enjoyed throughout the evening.
All proceeds generated from Sip to Save Lives will directly benefit the many homeless animals in need at the shelter.
Samantha Luhmann, Community Outreach Coordinator, brought an adoptable animal to Daybreak. Victoria is a 4-year-old, spayed female. She is the kind of cat who loves to have long conversations with you about your day.
Victoria would love to go home with you and be your new best friend. She enjoys taking naps in sunny windows and snuggling up next to her favorite people. She should do well with other pets given slow and proper introductions. She should do well with children under parental supervision.
Visit Victoria or one of the many other animals available for adoption at the Coulee Region Humane Society from 1-5 p.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday-
Sunday or 1-7 p.m. Tuesday & Thursday.
