The Bangor Cardinals beat Edgar 16-8 in a division 7 quarterfinal game Friday night.
Luke Reader led the way with 114 yards rushing on 34 carries and one touchdown.
Theo Muellenberg broke an 8-8 tie with a third quarter touchdown.
One key play came early in the game when Bangor recovered an Edgar fumble on the Bangor one yard line.
"This is unbelievable, it's surreal. This is the game we've been waiting for for a year and to do it like that it's crazy, we spend the whole summer working on this stuff and I don't want to do it with anyone else this is a great group," said quarterback Drew Johnson.
"You can definitely see that in our team, we never get down. Even when we were down we never thought about that, we don't care about the score we just play as hard as we can. I say, for me, it's over the state championship game for sure because they beat us last year and, yeah it's definitely the best game I've ever played in," said Reader.
Bangor will play Abbotsford next week Friday with a trip to the State Finals on the line.
