The Eagles find a way to win again this week against UW- Stout

Posted: Updated:

The Eagles and UW- Stout both entered today's game at 3-2 in the WIAC. The Eagles have won the last five meetings against the Blue Devils.

They need to win their last two games to have a chance at an at large bid to the NCAA tournament.

Drew David is behind the snap for the Eagles. David hits Cole Spieker for the 9 yard score in the first quarter to go up 7-0.

Seconds before the half, UW Stout's J. Dan Sturgeon lofts it up for Kevion McDonald who makes the 20 yard catch. The game is tied at 7 heading into the half.

Moving to the fourth quarter, Sturgeon is in trouble and Luke Winnen intercepts his pass and takes it home for the pick 6. The Eagles extend their lead 14-7.

Later in the fourth, David goes deep to Holcomb for the 51 yard score and that seals the deal for the Eagles. They win 21-7 over the Blue Devils. They are now 4-2 in the WIAC.
