A Holmen man is in the La Crosse County Jail awaiting formal charges after he fired a handgun during a bar fight in the Town of Onalaska early Tuesday morning.
Holmen Police and the La Crosse County Sheriff's office arrested Alexander Pollack, 32, after responding to a shots fired call at Angry's Way Out on County ZZ around 12:45 a.m.
According to a release from the sheriff's office, witnesses told investigators that a person fired a handgun during an altercation. The person left in a vehicle before authorities arrived. No one was injured when the gun was fired.
A search of the area found the vehicle, and when pulled over, found Pollack and a .45 caliber handgun with ammunition.
Pollack was taken into custody on charges including Recklessly Endangering Safety, Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon, OWI 2nd, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon.
