Traffic stop leads to meth-related arrest for second time this week in Trempealeau Co.

For the second time in three days a traffic stop in Trempealeau County leads to a drug arrest.

In Whitehall, the sheriff's office took Ashley Thelen, 30,  and Jeremy Brandes, 40, both from Rushford, Minnesota, into custody just before noon Wednesday.  During the investigation, a K-9 unit from Independence was requested. The dog was able to find methamphetamine inside the vehicle.

Both suspects are in the Trempealeau County Jail awaiting formal charges.
