The UW-La Crosse women's basketball team used a 15-4 second half run to turn a close game into a 15-point win.
51-36 was the final over UW-Stevens Point.
Dani Craig had 19 points and Delaney Schoenenberger added 16 for the Eagles.
UW-L improves to 8-5 and 2-1 in the WIAC.
"For us, it's always about our defense, holding them to 36 points. I thought we did a really good job of just really trying to be solid and be in great position. They;re a really physical team, super aggressive. So we knew we had to bring our 'A' game and be ready to go," said head coach Karen Middleton.
