The Wisconsin Conservation Corps, known as WisCorps, received a $2,500 donation to cap off the first year of the Toyota of La Crosse Cares program.
For each month in 2017, $20 from every vehicle sold went to a local charity or organization chosen by an employee of Toyota of La Crosse. WisCorps received their check after 126 cars were sold in the month of December.
The money will help support WisCorps' Inclusive Crew program.
"It's individuals of all abilities working on projects right in the La Crosse area. So we have a 4 week program, we'll be doing homeowner projects, we'll be doing projects in parks around La Crosse and individuals of all abilities will be able to work on the crew," says Operations Director of Wiscorps, Willie Bittner.
Toyota of La Crosse raised nearly $52,000 in 2017 for twelve local organizations.
