The AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW) is moving to a new location in La Crosse.
The organization will move from its current location in downtown La Crosse to a larger facility on Rose street.
The new building will allow the resource center to offer more services to patients.
"We're expanding our access to mental health services through the expansion of psychiatry programs so we've got a dedicated room for that as well, and just larger spaces for needle exchange, for HIV testing, and for other prevention activities," explains ARCW Vice President of Government and Public Affairs, Bill Keeton.
The move will not only allow the organization to provide more services but will make those services easier to access for the public.
"Being located really close to public transportation and bus stop just makes it easier for folks who need to come in and visit us be able to find us and get in for the care and treatment services they need."
The resource center is now accepting patients at the new location, with the move expected to be complete within a month.
