Madison, WI (WXOW) - -

West Salem/Bangor will take the ice Thursday at the WIAA State Hockey Championships for the second year in a row.

They'll face second seeded Eau Claire Memorial at the Alliant Energy Center.

The Panthers were on the ice Wednesday for a brief practice at the Alliant.

Thursday's quarterfinal will be a re-match from a game earlier this season.

Memorial beat West Salem 6-3 back in December.

The Panthers are eager to settle the score.

"I think it helps just to see what kind of pace that they play.  That was in December and I know we're a different team and I'm pretty sure they've made improvements and adjustments just like we all have.  I don't know if it gives any team and advantage with them seeing us and beating us or us not winning.  All that matters is who's going to show up tomorrow and what are we going to get when they touch the ice," said head coach Eric Borre.

They'll drop the puck at 4 PM.

Semifinals will be Friday and then the Championship Saturday.

The Girls and Boys state title games both can be seen on WXOW 19.

The girls game starts at noon with the boys game at approximately 2:15.
