The Washburn Neighborhood Association strives to improve the quality of life around La Crosse and on Saturday they do that with a garden expo.
The Washburn Garden Expo connects people to organizations that can help them start gardening as well as demonstrations revolving around how to cook with what they grow.
All in an effort to help make gardening more accessible to La Crosse residents.
"The people here and the exhibitors here have all sorts of ideas for you, there's square foot gardening, there's water retention, container gardening, there is all sorts of educational exhibits," Marketing Chairman for the Washburn Neighborhood Association Randy Magno says.
The expo is a yearly event, scheduled for the first weekend in March of 2019.
