La Crosse Community Theatre invites audiences to "come to the Cabaret" for the final three weekends in May. Through classic musical numbers, "Cabaret" revives the 1960s Broadway hit from May 11-27 at the Weber Center (428 Front St).
On the brink of World War II, the show takes place inside a nightclub hanging on to the last vestiges of pleasure amid the chaos of a changing Germany. An American writer, a famous English singer and a garish Master of Ceremonies converge on the Kit Kat Club to tell the story of a cultural upheaval.
Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays with a matinee on Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. Tickets are available online or by calling the box office at 784-9292.
WXOW-TV is a proud season sponsor of La Crosse Community Theatre.
