Viterbo University celebrated the various achievements of their graduating students at the 79th Spring Commencement Ceremony on Saturday.
With 475 graduates taking their last steps as Viterbo students, the ceremony commemorates their hard work and dedication over the years.
University officials also have a chance to provide students with a final teaching moment.
"We tell them our hopes for them as they go out into the world," President of Viterbo University Glena Temple continues, "That they will make a difference and be the ethical leaders and faithful servants that we have helped prepare them for along this step."
The ceremony also provides time to come together as a university one last time.
"Really it's just an opportunity to be together as a community and have this joyous day as they take the next steps in their lives," Temple said.
It's a weekend full of graduation with the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse holding their Spring ceremony on Sunday.
