WisCorps held their annual open house on Saturday, exhibiting the organization's various programs.
The event welcomes the public to the WisCorps center in Myrick Park to learn more about how the organization functions in our community.
"We're just trying to get people out in the community to realize the value of it," WisCorps Operations Director Willie Bittner explains.
Many are aware of WisCorps' conservation efforts but with the summer field season starting soon the open house exhibits the various opportunities available.
"Whether it's the bluff lands, the marsh, or the river, La Crosse has it all which pretty amazing. Annually we work with over 300 volunteers putting in 3,000 hours of community service right in the La Crosse area alone," Bittner finishes.
WisCorps has a selection of entry-level and leadership positions available for the summer. For more information on available positions click here.
