This summer, you can step inside one of Minnesota's most famous homes - the governor's mansion.
The Minnesota Historical Society launches its summer tour season of the governor's residence Tuesday, giving people the chance to explore the grounds and gardens at 1006 Summit Avenue in St. Paul for free.
Tours will be offered twice a month from now through August, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on each scheduled day, plus one evening session on July 31st.
Reservations are encouraged, although walk-ins are welcomed based on availability.
The Historical Society asks visitors donate a non-perishable food item for Second Harvest Heartland.
