The person who police say was captured on surveillance cameras wounding two people in downtown La Crosse over the weekend is charged with attempted homicide Wednesday.
Isaiah Stenson, Jr., 24, faces the Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide charge and a First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety charge in the August 5 shooting on 3rd Street.
La Crosse Police said in the criminal complaint that surveillance cameras showed another man handing Stenson a gun, who then fired it at a crowd of people.
Two people were treated for non-life threatening gunshot wounds.
The complaint said one of the victims was involved in a fight earlier with Stenson.
He remains in the La Crosse County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
The attempted homicide charge carries a maximum sentence of 60 years in prison.
