Clean Cities Program The Clean Cities Program is a Department of Energy (DOE) program designed to encourage the use of alternative fuel vehicles (AFVs) and their supporting infrastructure throughout the nation. By encouraging AFV use, the Clean Cities program will help achieve energy security and environmental quality goals at both the national and local levels.
Climate VISION Climate VISION "Voluntary Innovative Sector Initiatives: Opportunities Now" is a public-private partnership initiative launched by the Department of Energy on February 12, 2003, to contribute to the President's goal of reducing GHG intensity. Other agencies participating in Climate VISION include the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Transportation, Department of Agriculture, and Department of the Interior.
U.S. Global Change Research Program The U.S. Global Change Research Program integrates federal research on climate and global change, as sponsored by thirteen federal agencies and overseen by the Office of Science and Technology Policy, the Council on Environmental Quality, the National Economic Council and the Office of Management and Budget.
