LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) - All three La Crosse high schools plan three homecoming parades Friday afternoon, so police would like drivers to exercise additional caution.
"So things to be aware of tomorrow between 12 and 3...there will be a police presence around the high schools," said Sgt. Cory Brandl of the La Crosse Police Department. "There will be minimal traffic impact as parades go around each of the local high schools. So there will be some minimal barricades, it should be minimum traffic impact.
The parades are staggered during the afternoon. Central's starts at 1 p.m. Logan begins theirs at 2 p.m. Aquinas is the final parade. It gets underway shortly after 2 p.m.
All of the parades begin from each school's parking lot.
