La Crosse, WI (WXOW) – A plea agreement was made Thursday morning in the case against Theodore Muellenberg. The 18-year-old pleaded guilty to charges of second-degree sexual assault in addition to a charge of strangulation.
This past May, prosecutors said it was Muellenberg who broke into a neighbor’s home in Bangor wearing a ski mask. He then choked his victim unconscious, after the two fought inside her home.
According to the criminal complaint, Muellenberg would later tell investigators “I did it.”
Judge Ramona Gonzalez accepted Muellenberg’s plea and set a date of February 22, 2019 for sentencing.
