Jackson County (WQOW) - A Melrose man is charged with a slew of child sex crimes.
Duncan Rave is charged with four counts of 1st degree sexual assault of a child.
According to the criminal complaint:
The victim told police Rave sexually assaulted her on four different occasions. She said she was 11 and 12-years-old at the time of the four assaults.
The victim told police that Rave was intoxicated every time he assaulted her.
When questioned by police, Rave denied the accusations and said it was disgusting. He also said that he has quit drinking since the alleged assaults were reported.
Rave is due in court Monday, October 4 for an initial appearance.
The maximum penalty for the charges is 240 years in prison.
