The administration thought it was time to say thanks again with a day off.

Regional Vice President Dr. Paul Mueller says, that will happen November 26.

"All Mayo Clinic Health System locations, including. . . sites throughout Wisconsin will take this day, and all outpatient practice and all administrative areas and all scheduled surgical areas will be affected. . ."

Hospitals and acute care will remain open.  Dr. Mueller says, staff working that day "will be recognized in a commensurate way."

Mueller says the time will help staff re-charge and return prepared to continue their work, focusing on patient care.

If you scheduled an appointment in the areas that will close on November 26, Mayo will contact you to reschedule.
