...Strong thunderstorms will impact portions of southwestern Cass and

southwestern Crow Wing Counties through 730 PM CDT...

At 638 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms

capable of producing a landspout along a line extending from near

Wadena, to near Sauk Rapids, moving north at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Landspouts, wind gusts up to 40 mph, and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow unsecured

objects around. Minor damage to outdoor objects is

possible.

Locations impacted include...

South Long Lake and Upper South Long Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone outdoors, including anyone on or in the water, should seek

shelter inside a sturdy building or hard topped vehicle.
