La Crosse, WI (WXOW) – A classic fairy tale told through the power of dance opens Ballet La Crosse’s seventh season. Students will perform “Cinderella” at The Weber Center on October 26 and 27.
The show sees the troupe return to a show they performed four years ago. But, artistic team member Amanda Schams said a mix of new dancers and dancers in new roles will put a fresh spin on the story.
Set to the music of Sergei Prokofiev, the full-length ballet features choreography from Schams and Ballet La Crosse’s late ballet master, Kennet Oberly. All ages can attend the three-act performance.
Presented in part by Misty’s Dance Unlimited, tickets cost $22 for orchestra seating or $18 for the balcony. Those age 18 or younger can attend for $8. Reserve tickets online or by calling the Weber Center box office at 784-9292.
