Youth writer gets creative with virtual coaching sessions from local author

LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WXOW) - A young writer takes weekly virtual coaching sessions with a Holmen author during COVID-19 pandemic.

Ten-year-old Hope Docan-Morgan enjoys writing about Greek and Egyptian mythological creatures and adventures.

"You can come up with almost anything and you can create your own characters and your own adventures," Docan-Moran said. "I think it's just a lot of fun and it's not like I have to do this, it's a choice and I like writing and kind of editing and looking back at what I wrote."

"Author-prenuer" Amanda Zieba offers online classes and coaching sessions because she wants to help authors improve their writing and editing.

"Now that I've been doing it for awhile I love to take my teaching experience and my writing experience and combine them to help other people reach their writing goals," Zieba said.

Zieba offers classes for novels, blogs, and self publications through her website.
